****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO SHIRLEY MOORE. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: AMSAM-AC-AL-B, Shirley Moore, Contract Specialist, or Geraldine Williams, Contracting Officer, FAX number 2 56-955-8601. No telephone requests will be accepted. PRON: AX8T3002, NSN: 2915-01-462-3670, PN: 3046T17G02, Quantity: 105 each minimum/905 each maximum 5 year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement applicable to the AH-64 Turbine Engi ne (T-700). FOB Origin with delivery to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 10 each, 413 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and 10 per month thereafter until contract completion. The First Article Test Report is due 263 DACA. Req uired delivery without First Article Testing is 10 each, 275 DACA and 10 per month thereafter until contract completion. This is a Critical Safety Item. This item is restricted to General Electric Company, Cage Code 99207 and Arkwin Industries, Inc., Cag e Code 98391 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselv es. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources ma y submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS TECHNICAL DATA WHOSE EXPORT IS RESTRICTED BY THE ARMS EXPORT CONTROL ACT (TITLE 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) OR TH E EXPORT ADMINISTRATION ACT (TITLE 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) EXECUTIVE ORDER 121470.
