Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NASA/KSC has a requirement for three high voltage amplifiers with the following salient characteristics: Trek Model 10/10B-L-CE brand name or equivalent with the following characteristics: Output Voltage 0 to +/-10kV DC or peak AC Output Current 0 to +/-10mA DC or peak AC Input Voltage 0 to +/-10V DC or peak AC Minimum Slew Rate 250 V/micro second Minimum Large Signal Bandwidth 1kHz Current Monitor Provide a low voltage representation of the load current Voltage Monitor Provide a low voltage representation of the high voltage output Line Voltage 120VAC All units will be shipped to the address below: Transportation Officer NASA / Kennedy Space Center J-BOSC WAREHOUSE, BUILDING M6-744 KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FL 32899 The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code is 334515. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Questions regarding this acquisition must be in writing, via e-mail, to Erik C. Whitehill not later than COB January 4, 2008. Telephone questions will not be accepted). It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). Selection and award will be made to that offeror whose offer is the lowest price technically acceptable source. It is critical that offerors provide adequate detail to allow evaluation of their offer. (SEE FAR 52.212-1(b)). Offers for the items(s) described above are due by Close of Business (COB) January 11, 2008, to NASA-KSC, Attn: Erik C. Whitehill, e-mail: Erik C. Whitehill@nasa.gov and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to KSC, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JAN 2006), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin.
