- This is a solicitation for the following commercial items, The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB is soliciting offers for the Grounds Maintenance Contract. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the a DRAFT solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number FA4610-07-R-0008 and will be issued as a request for quotation. The SIC code is 0782 and the size standard is $6,500,000. The NAICS is 561730. This procurement is being issued as 100% 8(a) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The contractor will perform Grounds Maintenance on Vandenberg Air Force Base IAW attached Statement of Work, Appendices A through H, and Attachments 1 through 3. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday October 25th at 1:00 pm local time. Due to the nature of this project, it is highly encouraged that all offerors attend the site visit. All bidders who plan to attend the site visit must submit the names of personnel from your firm to Tina Mercer at kristina.mercer@vandenberg.af.mil or (805) 605-7040 no later than 12:00 pm local time Wednesday October 24th, 2007. All quotes must be sent to Tina Mercer at: Fax 805-606-5193; kristina.mercer@vandenberg.af.mil or mailed to 30 CONS Bldg 8500, 1515 Iceland Ave, Vandenberg AFB CA 93437. Please include the solicitation number, your address and telephone/fax number. Offeror must submit completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3 on-line at http:orca.bpn.gov. The clause FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds-Central Contractor. Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) Invoicing System is now mandatory for use by DoD Contractors. WAWF-RA will expedite your payment processing time and allows monitoring of your payment status online.There are no charges or fees to use WAWF-RA.
