- SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov). Solicitation will be posted on or about 20 December 2007. Contractor shall furnish a total of 5,200 feet of cable on four cable spools. The cable shall be Brand Nam e or Equal, Houston Wire Co. #HW17001425, 14 AWG, 25-conductor Cable. Minimum rating 600 volt AC and Minimum tensile strength 1950 PSI. Zero Halogen content and 35% minimum limiting oxygen index. Cable shall be in compliance with UL1685 smoke emission te st requirements and have a coefficient of friction rating of 0.35. Two of the spools shall contain a minimum of 1,350 feet plus or minus one foot. The remaining two spools shall contain a minimum of 1,250 feet plus or minus one foot. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror that can meet the delivery requirements. All items shall be delivered by 10 January 2008, shipped FOB DESTINATION to Lower Monumental Dam, 5520 Devils Canyon Road, Kahlotus, Wa 99335. ADMIN INFO: Soli citation is 100% set-aside for small business contractors. For the purpose of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if it does not exceed 500 employees.
