Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about Thursday, January 3, 2008 with Quotes due approximately 15 days following issuance. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE AND EMAIL REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Replace Rooftop HVAC Unit, Salem Maritime National Historic Site, Salem, MA. Solicitation Number Q1900080005. This contract consists of the furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision and performing all operations required for the Demolition of existing rooftop unit consisting of a gas fired heating section, electric cooling system with integral condensing unit, and fans. Work shall include disconnecting existing duct, gas, condensate drainage, and electric connections. Installation of a new 30 Ton nominal capacity packaged rooftop unit. This system shall include a 30 Ton cooling system (including integral condensing unit), with a minimum 500 MBH (inlet) gas fired heating system, supply fan(s), condensate drain, and controls. Startup of the new heat pump system. Construction performance period is 90 calendar days. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 36.204 the estimated construction price range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code 238220, $13 million. This acquisition is subject to P.L.100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is subject to full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Contractors are urged to make a site visit to ascertain existing work conditions.
