Description: Rare Plant Search: Systematic search of stands for rare plants during specified periods of the season. Predetermined verification points are provided to assist orientation and confirm surveys are conducted in correct stands. Flagging and paint-rings are posted by contractor at the verification points. Points are GPS coordinates (UTMs, NAD 83). Detections of rare plants require obtaining and reporting GPS locations and digital photographs of plants. Apportionment of work is estimated as follows: May - 935 acres June - 1,561 acres July - 599 acres August-September = 4,055 acres
