- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra-Nevada Regional Office (SNR), intends to award a sole-source contract for software maintenance with one option year to OSI Software, 777 Davis Street, Suite 250, San Leandro, CA 94577. Authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, ???Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements???. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. This is a Brand Name, Vendor specific requirement for the follow-on annual support for the OSI PI Enterprise Server and PI ICCP Interface (Software). The resulting purchase order will be fixed price. Only OSI, the architect of the PI software, has the unique, proprietary knowledge of its PI software and is able to support it to level of detail needed by WAPA. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interest and capability statements must be received by the Government no later than 11 January 2008, at 12:00 PM PST to be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511210; Size Standard is $18.0 Million.
