- Description
- The US Army Medical Command, Southeast Region has a requirement for a speaker for series of lectures and course instruction to the Oral and Maxillofacial, Periodontic, Prosthodontic and Endodontic residents in the post graduate training programs at F ort Gordon, Georgia. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Dr. Mohammad Sharawy, 3677 Bay Point, Augusta, Georgia 30907-9135. The contractor/speaker will provide a series of lecture s and course instruction (7 full days) to the Dental Post Graduate training residents from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program, the Endodontic Program, the Periodontic Program and the Prosthodontic Program in the following topics: Radiological Anat omy of the Head and Neck and TMJ Structure and Function; Anatomy and Physiology of Nerve and its Response to Injury; Surgical Spaces of the Head and Neck and Spread of Dental Infection; Bone Grafts and Implants; Overview of Sensory System; Overview of Auto nomics NS and Cranial Nerves V and VII; and Cell Structure and Function Bone Physiology and Biochemistry of Bones as a Tissue. The contractor will also provide an anatomy and laboratory course that will include six (6) full days of lecture and laboratory sessions and will be available in the laboratory during the assigned times for the dissection of the cadavers to individually instruct the residents. This is not a request for proposal. However, entities that can provide an equal product must submi t their technical capabilities to include certifications/licenses and Curriculum Vitae, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government medical/technical representatives for consideration for futu re requirements.
