Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Startford CT 06614, for Blower units, P/N 70309-85815-101 utilized on the MH-60M aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action will be solicited as an Indefinite Delivery Indefnite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for supplies which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336411; the business size is 1500 employees. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 11 January 2008.
