Description: The USPFO for Arkansas is requesting bids for the sale of - Expended Firing Range Brass and Gleanings from Range Clearance at Fort Chaffee and Camp Robinson, Arkansas. The purpose of this acquisition is the sell of expended firing range brass and gl eamings from the range clearance on a quarterly basis from two Arkansas Army National Guard Military Installations (Fort Chaffee and Camp Robinson). Contractor is responsible for the supplies, materials, equipment, labor, transportation, oversight, and documentation and payment for the removal of these materials as stated in the statement of work. Absolutely all expended firing range brass and gleanings will have to be rendered unusable for firing and demilitarized prior to leaving the installations by t he contractor. Contractor is responsible for furnishing of containers for the spent segregated brass, demilitarized the expended firing range brass and gleamings, and the transportation of the materials. Offerors must prove they have the ability to demil itarize the expended Firing Range Brass and Gleanings from Range Clearance on the site of the two installations (Fort Chaffee and Camp Robinson). Material will be loaded in Gaylord containers, palletized by the contractor. The contractor shall provide the Gaylord containers and means to palletize the Gaylord containers. The contractor agrees to provide transportation related to the pick-up and shipment of the material at no cost to the Government. Expended Firing Range Brass and Gleanings inspection. Offe rors are expected to inspect the merchandise offered for sale and to satisfy themselves as to merchandise quality and all general and local conditions that may affect the offerors bid. In no event will the failure to inspect the recyclable merchandise con stitute grounds for a claim after award of a contract resulting from this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 423930 and size standard is 100. The anticipated contract will consis t of a Base Award Period of one (1) calendar years, and 4 one-year option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed five (5) calendar years. Interested offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Interested offerors are required to submit their representation and certification on-line at http://orca.bpn .gov.
