- Description
- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has a requirement for publishing services related to the publication of a scholarly book "The Road to Yucca Mountain", including the manuscript review, editing, design, production, promotion, sales, and warehousing. The specific tasks to be performed will be addressed in the solicitation, which will be issued on or about January 4, 2008. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511130 Book Publishers with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order, utilizing FAR Subpart 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The performance period will include a 12-month base period. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this requirement will be made available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing this website and must respond to the solicitation requirements in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order. A written solicitation document is not available, telephone requests will not be honored, and a bidders list will not be maintained. To be eligible for award, interested parties MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry at www.ccr.gov.
