Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for the purchasing of specific Horse(s) for the Commanding Generals Mounted Color Guard at Fort Riley, KS 66442. There will be one base CLIN and Three (3) Option Year CLINS. The CGMCG is Comtemplating an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quanity Contract for the purchase of Specific Horse(s). CLIN 0001: When the decision to purchase a specific horse(s) is made, a Delivery Order will be issued by the Directorate of Contr acting (DOC). CLIN 1001: Option year 1. This CLIN will start in Jan 2009. POP is 1 Jan 2009 to 31 Dec 2009. CLIN 2001: Option year 2. This CLIN will start in Jan 2010. POP is 1 Jan 2010 to 31 Dec 2010. CLIN 3001: Option year 3. This CLIN will sta rt in Jan 2011. POP is 1 Jan 2011 to 31 Dec 2011. Your price shall be FOB Origin. Contract will be FFP and will include your fee and any licenses that may be required to assist Fort Riley in the purchase of the specific horse(s). The Minimum purchase fo r a year will be $3,001.00 and the Maximum purchase is estimated to be $30,000.00 per year. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-22 effective on December 24, 2007. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 112920 with a size standard of $0.75 Million. We prefer to make payment by Electronic means. You must be registered in the CCR (Central Contractor Registration) (http://ww w.ccr.gov/) and registration in ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications Application https://orca.bpn.gov/) is recommended. Award shall be made to the best value. Offerors shall provide past performance in the purchasing and selling of horse(s) with their quote.
