Description

Questions in reference to the solicitation: -Some titles are no longer available online through agencies. We can only supply print. How should that be addressed in the response? Answer: Where online only is unavailable we want Print & Online. If Print & online are unavailable, we want print only. -It would appear from your previous answers to vendor questions that you would require a site license for each title requested as online for up to 2000 users. There is conflicting information in Item #4, number of simultaneous users. You cite one user at a time. That is the more economical option but does not support the need for a site license. Some online access is user id and password and others is based on email address. Explain? Answer: Electronic resource are licensed in different ways. Where a company uses a concurrent user model, we want one concurrent user. Those that license by total population, the population is estimated at 2000(including students, which not all publishers count.) They are different, mutually exclusive licensing models and no company I know of uses both. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (03-JAN-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
