- This notice amends the notice sent out 12/28/2007 with the closing date of 7 January 2008. This notice is to clarify that announcement. This requirement is a Sources Sought for purposes of conducting market research. There is no solicitation availa ble at this time. Request for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Benning, GA is conducting market research to determine the extent of sources capable of performing as subcontractors on a firm fixed price cont ract to support Base Realignment and Closure(BRAC) Construction upgrades to the Fort Benning, GA water and waste water system in strict adherence to the specifications of the owner, Columbus Water Works (CWW) who was awarded the 50 year privatized water an d waste water contract on Fort Benning, GA. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110; small business size standard is $31.0 Million. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is su bmitted in response to this Sources Sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. Small Business Concerns submitting responses should indicate whether they are small, small disadvantaged, small service disabled veteran-owned, 8(A), HUBZone, or w oman-owned. 1. All business concerns are required to submit a written Capabilities Statement demonstrating their ability to perform work including design, excavation, and installation for trunk and gravity sewer upgrades, upgrading existing lift stations, and constructing new lift stations to the water and waste water system. 2. Gross annual receipts for the past three years; 3. Past Performance information demonstrating RELEVANT past experience in any of the functional areas referenced above; 4. Current successful teaming arrangements with other small businesses/large businesses. All interested business concerns are required to respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement via email by January 11, 2008. 5:00, p.m., E.S.T, Responses shall not exceed 15 page s and must include company point of contact, email address, telephone number and fax number.
