Description

Arnold Air Force Base (AEDC), Tennessee, has a requirement for a neodymium-YAG laser system, consisting of a laser head and separate power supply, both connected by an umbilical cord that contains cooling lines, high voltage wiring, and low voltage control wiring. The neodymium-YAG laser head will contain two separate laser cavities so as to produce two separate Q-switched laser pulses, of 10 nanosecond pulse duration or less, that can be fired at any desired time delay between them. The Request for Proposals (RFP) with the specification will be available on or about 21 January 2008. Proposal due date will be on or about 15 February 2008 at 2PM Central Standard Time. Request for Proposals and specifications will only be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP amendments, clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
