Description
Tubular Reactor System Requirements/Specifications: Must include three gas inlet feed lines and one purge gas inlet line. Each of the three gas inlets must be equipped with a filtered tank pressure regulator, automated shut-off valve, m etering valve, bypass valve, electronic mass flow controller (MFC), and a reverse-flow check valve. One of the three gas inlets must be made of Alloy C-276. The others inlet lines are made of stainless steel. Must include one purge gas fee d line equipped with a filtered tank pressure regulator, automated shut-off valve, metering valve, and a reverse-flow check valve. Must include one liquid feed line, that includes a filtered inlet line, digital high pressure liquid metering pump (0- 10 ml/min), and a reverse-flow check valve. Components are made of stainless steel. Must include a tubular reactor assembly, that includes an open tubular reactor with an ID of ~0.4 and a heated length of 12. Reactor is made of Alloy C-276, is rated for use to 1500 psi at 600?C. Reactor must be heated with a three zone split-tube furnace controlled by thermocouples located in the outer wall in the middle of each 4-inch long heated zone. Reactor must include a safety relief valve, pressure gage, pressure transducer and internal monitoring thermocouple. Must include a high pressure liquid separator, made of Alloy C-276 with 300 ml capacity, equipped with an automated liquid let-down system, liquid level sensor, and rate d for use to 1500 psi. Components and connecting tubing are made of Alloy C-276 Must include a back pressure regulator to control the release of overhead gases from the separator vessel and to maintain constant reactor pressure. This controller must be fully automatic and must maintain the reactor pressures from atmospheric up to 1500 psig. All components in the back pressure regulator are made of Alloy C-276 Must include a process controller equipped with eight analog input channels, 16 digi tal output channels, and four analog output channels. These channels are used to control the reactor temperature, pump on/off, pressure, and gas flow rates. Must include all cabling for the controller, and controller must be fully integrated into sy stem. Controller must operate the system once connected to a computer. Software for the controller must be included and must be compatible with Microsoft Windows XP. The system must be fully assembled and tested. Power Requirement: 120 V single phase 20 amp Operating 24 hrs per day, 7 days per month.
