Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.603 and FAR 5.207 as supplemented with additional information included with this notice.?A written solicitation is issue d via the IBOP (Interactive Opportunities Web Page).?? The proposed acquisition is to be a Firm Fixed Price, Contract. The Solicitation for this buy is currently posted on the IBOP under the solicitation numberW15P7T-08-R-N401. This effort is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Kontron America Inc., 14118 Stowe Drive, Poway, CA 92064-7147 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) based on the determination that the Government needs can be satisfied by only one source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. The right to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources is not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed or otherwise obtained by the knowledge of the Government. Firms that recognize and can products the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. The North American Indu stry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this effort is 334418 with the corresponding Small Business size standard of 500 employees. The United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703 intends to award a firm-fixed-price type contract for quantity (26) each, 120-Line Circuit Card Assembly, NSN: 5998-01-485-3852, Commercial Part Number: PCI-DIO120. The period of performance for this award will be 365 days. The offeror shall provide the terms of their commercial warranty with their proposal. The delivery schedule shall be quantity (26) each, 45 days after contract award. Accelerated delivery at no additional cost to the Government is accepted and encouraged. Packaging requirements shal l be in accordance with Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging. Inspection and Acceptance will be at SOURCE. Shipments are to be FOB DESTINATION , FAR 52.247-34, to DoDAAC: W25G1V, Tobyhanna Army Depot, 11 Hap Arnold Blvd, Tobyhanna, PA 18466. The D efense Priorities Allocation System (DPAS) assigned rating for this acquisition is DOA7. The offerer must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database prior to award. The offeror may register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) by calling (800) 334-3414 or at http://www.ccr.gov. The U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) has established the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow ele ctronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs).
