- Description
- Synopsis for Iraq Theater Wide Trucking Joint Contracting Command ? Iraq, Theater Wide Requirements Division, will solicit freight trucking and shipping services which will be integrated into the current Supply Chain Management System. Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to ensure secure distribution of reconstruction assets from Forward Operating Bases (FOB) and distribution sites located within Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan and Turkey to locations throughout the country of Iraq. Retrograde to origination points will be also expected. When required, the Contractor shall also provide Convoy Escort Teams (CET). Convoy management services will be integrated into the current MNF-I movement control systems and provide continuous convoy management team availability in accordance with mission requirements. The contract will be one base year with two option years. Task orders issued against this contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). Contractor will provide all trucks, vehicles, equipment and personnel to successfully execute task orders. The Government will provide all life support at the existing Strategic Supply Chain Management System Sites and FOBs. Outside the FOBs and Strategic Supply Chain Management System Sites, the contractor shall be self-supporting. Contractor shall complete missions within the number of mission days prescribed by the Government in the SOW. The only excusable delays the Government will accept are acts of war, transportation vehicle malfunction, or military related delays. The contractor shall be responsible for adherence to all U.S. Government, Coalition and Iraqi laws and regulations associated with operations in Iraq especially regarding weapons, badges, licensing, registration and compliance.
