- Description
- Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Construct Concrete Targets (Requirements Contract), Eglin AFB FL. The NAICS code for this requirement 238110 and size standard of $13M. The acquisition competition is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB) . This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes but not limited to the following: furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials and performing all operations required to Construct Concrete Targets, Eglin AFB FL on an ?as required? basis. In general, the work includes construction of various reinforced concrete targets on specified test areas and the extension of target casting yards, all of which will be performed on an ?as required? delivery order basis. Performance period is one year for the Basic contract plus three (3) One-Year options. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located at Eglin AFB FL, and the Eglin Range. Estimated dollar range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the Basic plus three (3) One-Year option years combined. Performance period is 365 calendar days. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about 25 September 2007. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE is 25 October 2007. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) (orca.bpn.gov) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
