- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis is being issued per FAR 52.211-2 for brand name or equal components. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal A cquisition Circular Fac 2005-22, Effective 24 Dec 2007 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, current to DCN 20071207 Edition. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333315 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. All quotes shall be for NEW equipment. Per FAR 12.202(b ), salient characteristics and functionally will be for brand name or equal per descriptions referenced below. This solicitation contains Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) 0001; Quantity - 5; Unit of Issue Each; Description Redlake high speed camera, p art number 10003304-016 HGXR with motion central camera control, TBS and full schematics. The requirement specifications, statement of work, this CSS, or any other pertinent information applicable to this solicitation are located at theU.S. Army Contractin g Agency, Yuma web site at www.yuma.army.mil/contracting under RFQ W9124R-08-R-0003. U.S.Delivery, acceptance and Fob point is the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground in Yuma, AZ 85365. Proposals shall include all transportation costs and state proposed delive ry time in weeks after receipt of order. Arizona vendors are to include the Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. Offers shall be clearly marked with RFQ referencing number # W9124R-08-R-0003 and emailed to Robert Pich (robert.pich@yuma.army.mil) or sent by facsimile to POC at (928) 328-6849 no later than 28 Jan 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). In addition, all technical questions concer ning this requirement must be emailed to POC no later than 21 Jan 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offers that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the te rms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting fro m this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
