Description: THIS PROCURMENT ACTION IS 100% HUBZONE SET ASIDE. The work is for a levee straddle enlargement that consists of clearing and grubbing, placement of bedding stone, construction of temporary granular fill closures, granular fill, compacted and uncompac ted fills, installation of two rows of 54 inch diameter double walled plastic pipe culvets, excavation within the existing drainage canal, levee degrading, sheetpile installation, grouted stone scour protection, contractor furnished borrow pit(s), rip rap, above and below water surface geotextile placement, and fertilizing, seeding and mulching. A Request for Proposal will be issued on or about January 24, 2008, and the Proposal Due Date will be on or about February 22, 2008. The estimated value of this w ork is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. THIS IS A BEST VALUE PROCUREMENT, AND IT IS ISSUED AS HUBZONE SET ASIDE. NAICS Code: 237990.
