Description

Question: Specifically, what is unit price? Is tuition per student an allowable line item? Response: Pricing for the program is the affiliated College or University's prerogative. How ever, we feel that the pricing per student is an affiliation fee and is not generally considered tuition because students will not be attending classes on site at the College/University, since the Government provides all classroom space/facilities, textboo ks, instructors, etc. Our intent is to be considered a satellite extension of the College/University. Additionally, the price may be based on a cost per student such as for example, associated administrative costs per student that accrue for the period o f time that the contract is in effect. Although the solicitation and any resulting contract has a period of performance that is set, once a student enters the program and is paid for by the Government, the contract remains in force until the student gradu ates or is removed. Finally, the unit price is the cost for the affiliation per student and is submitted on the schedule in the solicitation with your proposal.
