- 28-, SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-08-R-0063, OC-ALC/CBSG/PKB, TINKER AFB OK 73135-3030, for addition information contract Irene Mireles/CBSG/PKB/405-734-8775, Email: Irene.mireles@tinker.af.mil. This is a Solicitation for a quantity range of 22 through 88 and 89 through 132 each (USAF) and 40 each (FMS) for NSN 2840-01-420-4764, Aircraft G Air Seal and Part Number: 4083666-01 or 4081665. Form/Fit/Function: Supports fourteen each seal segments that provide air sealing for the 4th stage of turbine. Predominant material of manufacture is Nickel Alloy. Dimension: Approximate 27 inches x 2 inches. First Article is applicable Destination: FB2039, Delivery: Delivery is 30 January 2009 (USAF) and 30 September 2008 for FMS. The approximate solicitation issue date will be November 7, 2007. The anticipated award date will be 31 December 2007. Technical data is available and can be obtained by registering in https://www.fedteds.gov/. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. AWARD WILL NOT BE WITHHELD AWAITING QUALIFICAITON. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government property qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or any other third party. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford CT and Numet Machine Technique Inc (9Y765). Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
