- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and is 100% set-aside for small business. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VVJ67347AQ02. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-22, effective 24 Dec 2007, DFAR DCN 20071207, and AFFAR AFAC 2007-0823. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334119. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5045 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. All interested parties must bid on all items. The contractor will be required to provide maintenance on Cisco software. Maintenance includes the following: (1) Provide one year maintenance contract for Cisco software products, (2) The Period of Performance shall be for one year, 1 January 2008 to December 31, 2008, (3) Provide toll free customer support telephone number, (4)Provide 24 X 7 technical support, (5)Provide site to download latest software updates, (6)Provide both major and minor software releases, (6a) A major release refers to a release of software that provides major architectural changes or major feature enhancements or functionality. (I.e. upgrade from version 4.3.2 to 5.0.0), (6b) A minor release refers to an incremental release of software that provides bug fixes and minor feature enhancements. A maintenance release refers to an incremental release of software that provides maintenance fixes. (I.e. upgrade from version 4.3.2 to 4.3.3).
