Description

The National Park Service intends to issue a Prospectus for the operation of a Food & Beverage and Retail Operation at Lehman Caves Visitor Center within Great Basin National Park. The existing Concession Contract between the National Park Service and the existing Concessioner expires on December 31, 2008. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is a preferred Offeror for this Contract because first year sales are projected to be less than $500,000. The length of the new Contract will be for a term of ten years. Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, California 94607 no later than 60 days after the date of publication of this notice in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract. The Prospectus will be issued January 11, 2008 for a 60-day response period under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due on March 11, 2008, no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
