Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, a body corporate and politic (hereinafter ?WMATA?), under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The NRC is requesting WMATA to provide 200 garage parking spaces at the White Flint Metrorail station parking garage in Rockville, Maryland (hereinafter ?Permitted Premises?) for parking for Permittee?s employees to accommodate employees working at 11545 and 11555 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Maryland. The required start date is within the second quarter of fiscal year of 2008 and the estimated ending period is January 31, 2010. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers, however all responsible sources may submit written capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than January 31, 2008. Telephonic responses and capability statements that do not provide sufficient information for evaluation by the NRC will not be considered.
