- Description
- The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality intends to continue on a sole source basis with Hufano & Associates, LLC, 3035 Washtenaw Avenue, Suite A353, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. The extension to this contract is proposed until December 31, 2008 with one additional option year from January 1 - December 31, 2009. The purpose of this contract is for the analysis, design and implementation of organizational development initiatives to enhance the performance of AHRQs Senior Management Team. The tasks will lead to ensuring that AHRQ is a high performing organization, especially in the five Presidents Management Agenda (PMA) areas, and that AHRQ is committed to operating principles that make AHRQ an exceptional place to work. Hufano & Associates, LLC has a unique approach to leadership development, in which activities take place concurrently on the individual, team, and system levels. The key activities are: individual coaching, developmental training sessions, and collaborative work sessions/team coaching. Through individual coaching, executives achieve a higher level of self-awareness and personal performance. Group training sessions support further growth and skill development in areas identified in individual coaching sessions. Collaborative work or lab sessions focused on strategic and operational initiatives provide executive teams the opportunity to practice the new skills and competencies they have developed through individual coaching. In these facilitated sessions supported by team coaching methodologies, executives develop increased emotional competence, have improved dialogues, and practice requisite new behaviors, while at the same time resolving complex issues to achieve enterprise results. The collaborative work sessions enable a unique way of working that also takes into account the behaviors that must change in order to sustain new strategic, operational, people, and capital initiatives. Over the past three years, Hufano & Associates, LLC has successfully delivered a variety of organizational development projects to AHRQ. Given the personal nature of individual coaching and personal development, the trusting relationship Hufano has built with AHRQ leaders is an immeasurable benefit. AHRQ Senior Management desires to continue working with Hufano & Associates to further develop and enhance the performance of AHRQs Senior Management Team. The Contractors previous work with the Agency has led to intricate knowledge of AHRQ and its culture, confidentiality issues and trusting relationships with AHRQ Senior Leadership Team. Interested parties should fax their capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer at 301-427-1740 no later than 1:00pm on January 24, 2008. All responses will be considered by AHRQ.
