Description

Replace Electric Motor Controls Solicitation VA248-08-IB-0132, anticipated solicitation Issue date 01/21/2008; Bid due date 02/29/08 2PM EST; Schedule Site Visit 01/30/2008 1:00 PM EST. The James A Haley VAMC will be replacing several existing Motor Controls throughout the facility. The project will require installing new Motor Controls, some relocation of utilities and phased demolition of the old Motor Controls. Work will include interface with an existing Johnson Controls Energy Management System. Applicable NAICS 238210, size standard $13.0 million. This is a 100% SDVOSB set-aside procurement. Cost range from $500,000 to $1,000,000. A bid guarantee, performance and payment bonds are required. To be eligible for this procurement the Contractor must be registered at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ Site Visits are highly encouraged and recommended. The Contractor is responsible for reviewing the entire job site and existing site conditions prior to bid submission. The site visit schedule will be posted with the issuing of the solicitation. Experience: Contractors who have at least 5 years relevant experience are encouraged to participate in this procurement. Provide POC, Phone numbers for similar projects and magnitude.
