- Description
- This acquisition is to obtain a firm fixed price to implement the Production and Delivery of the AN/APQ-122(V) 8 Multi-mode Radar (MMR) Ka-Band Receiver/Transmitter (KaRT) Modification with Freon-Free Operation. The required support includes the provisioning activities, First Article Inspection (FAI), production readiness review, initial and modified legacy Shop Replaceable Units (SRU) spares, and production of 28 KaRT Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) modification kits. The APQ-122(V) 8 is the primary mission equipment on the MC-130E Combat Talon I aircraft. There will be a basic contract with four (4) options. Sole Source to Raytheon, 2501 West University, McKinney, Texas 75070 CAGE: 084T3, Authority 10 USC 2304 ( C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
