- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation number is N00604-08-T-0073. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQs), for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007-18, dated July 5, 2007 and DFARS Change Notice 20070814, dated August 14, 200 7. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set Aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. QTY 8; ITEM 0009: Solid Beam Aluminum Extension Ladder, 750lb rated, 28' QTY 2; ITEM 0010: Folding Aluminum Ladder, 300lb rated, 10? QTY 1; ITEM 0011: Man-Portable Fire Pump, 5 Gal capacity 18? long including pump, constructed of vinyl with polyester fabric, water tight construction with reinforcement at all strain points, Should straps Mil Spec webbing QTY 50; AND ITEM 0012: Bandanna for face protections QTY 200. Contractor shall provide all transportation and other necessary materials to support this requirement. Delivery required by 17 March 2008 . Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to be eligible for Department of Defense Contract awards.
