- Description
- The project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Remove two existing air-cooled chillers and replace with two new air-cooled chillers. 2. Remove existing HVAC control system and install new HVAC direct digital control. 3. Install one new Variable Air Volume (VAV) unit with hot water heating coils and reconfigure associated ductwork. 4. Balance water and air flow in selected parts of the HVAC system. 5. Remove 2 Reverse Osmosis systems, modify existing humidifier piping and replace 5 humidifiers. 6. Replace 2 evaporative humidifier units in existing Liebert Computer Room Unites ACU-2 and3 and install wire mesh screen over units to reduce turbulence and water carry-over. 7. Clean all rust, dirt and hard water deposit from inside bottom of 2 Liebert computer room units ACU-2 and 3. Recoat any rusted or are metal in bottom of units with low odor (low VOC), brushed on paint designed for metal surfaces. Install a stainless steel screen over the new infrared humidifiers to reduce air flow to water which results in water carry-over. 8. Install new water leak detection monitors in TRACON equipment room 204, ATCT equipment room SJ1, and mechanical rooms SJ7, J10 andJ12.
