Description: Sources are sought for potential vendors that can meet the Governments requirement to provide a product to ensure the safety of soldiers at Obstacle courses. Currently the safety net used to catch a soldier that has fallen from an obstacle; is causi ng injury to the soldiers feet or arms due to the fact that they are getting caught in the netting. The Government is looking for a commercially available product to use with or in lieu of the safety net that would prevent such injury. Potential vendors a re asked to submit samples and any literature on their product. Fabric must adhere to all Safety Policies and Procedures for its intended purpose. The governments minimum specifications are as follows: Color Black; Size - 58 X 25single unit piece; Fad e and stain resistant; Provides UVA and UVB blockage, fabric should allow air and water to flow through.
