Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Construction & Facilities Management is looking for General Construction firms that are SDVOSB, VOSB and/or WOSB. Addititionally the VA is looking for General Construction firms that are SBA certified in the following programs: 8(a), 8(a) ANC, HUBZone and SDB. The firm must be a General Construction firm approved under NAICS Code 236220 with a small business size standard of $31.0 Million, a bonding capacity of approximately $30.0 Million, and must have general construction and site development experience with contracts as the prime contractor in the $20.0 to $50.0 million range. The project scope provides for the necessary labor, materials and equipment to construct a new one story, approximately 80,000 sq. ft. VA Nursing Home Care Unit and Dietetics Kitchen. General construction, site work, site utilities, structural erection, mechanical / electrical, fire alarm, telecom/data and other systems, and access roadways and parking are included. The project Architect is TCF Architecture, 902 North Second Street, Tacoma, WA 98403. The project site is located on the Grounds of the VA Medical Center, American Lake, WA.
