- Description
- The USPTO has a requirement to host a national science and engineering competition in May, 2008. The USPTO intends to award a sole source order to National University, a 501c3 non-profit that runs the Sally Ride Toychallenge. Under the provisions of Title 35, USC, Section 2(b)(11), the USPTO is permitted to host a national science and engineering competition in relation to educating children as to the value of intellectual property. The USPTO requires the services of a vendor who has run such a competition for a minimum of 5 years and who has recognizable brand name identification. National University is the only known responsible source that will satisfy the USPTO's requirement.
