- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to exercise an option for national maintenance services under Contract DTFA01-02-C-00168, effective 27 March 2008. The contract covers maintenance services for the Enhanced Terminal Voice Switch (ETVS), Digital Voice Recording System (DVRS) and the Small Tower Voice Switch (STVS). The approved source under this contract is Northrop-Grumman ES Denro Systems. These systems, manufactured by Northrop Grumman Corporation, provide voice communication switching in Air Traffic Control facilities and Automated Flight Service Stations. The full scope of the maintenance contract include requirements for a logistics and component repair service; and provisions for on-site Integrated Communications Switching Systems (ICSS) and associated ATS spares. It also includes depot-level Rapid Deployment Voice Switching spares (RDVS); provisions for consumable items and materials; exchange and repair services; RDVS test bed systems; maintenance engineering services; system moves/changes/and relocation tasks; system position expansion tasks; and system functional enhancement tasks. The period of performance for this option period is: 27 March 2008 through 26 March 2009.
