Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requires executive consulting, coaching and mentoring services. Service will be provided to employees newly hired to VA executive positions, mid level manager positions and technical career fields such as finance, acquisition and human resources. Services shall be rendered to employees via individual one-on-one coaching sessions, knowledge transfer sessions; leadership development programs; technical career field training/instruction and development of Individual Development Plans. Services shall be provided to VA facilities throughout the nation. (A list of VA locations can be found at: http://www1.va.gov/directory/guide/home.asp ). The resulting contract shall be for a base period of one (1) year, with the option to renew services on a yearly basis until 2013. Multiple awards are anticipated. The selected contractor shall possess a minimum of five (5) years extensive expertise knowledge of healthcare, healthcare administration and management; have demonstrated understanding, leadership and management of the federal governmental-its laws, regulations, policies, operations and structures; be familiar with things peculiar to the VA, such as the Veterans Health Administration organization, veterans' issues, benefits and general terms; have demonstrated professional oral and written communication skills--including the ability to prepare technical documents that presents information in a clear, concise, and easily understood format. This is not a request for proposal. The VA is seeking to identify companies that can provide the required services. Firms meeting the requirements should submit information which DEMONSTRATES experiences to this office no later than 10:00 am (EST) February 4, 2008. Firms must indicate whether they are a large business; small business; SBA-certified under the 8(a), SDB or HUB Zone Programs; WOSB, SDVOSB or VOB. The NAICS code for the procurement is 541611 small business size $6.5 M.
