- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of Laundry and Dry Cleaning services for the Services Squadron and the Medical Group at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Required services are commercial; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item, shall apply to this acquisition. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, and supplies, except as specified as government-furnished, to provide laundry and dry cleaning service, including pick-up and delivery for the 28th Services Squadron and the 28th Medical Support Squadron at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. All work shall be performed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations, and applicable federal, state and local rules/laws, to maintain/achieve safe, sanitary, economical, operational, and undeteriorated conditions. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base period beginning on or about 1 April 08 and ending 31 March 09. There will be a base period of one year and four one-year options. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812320. The size standard for this acquisition is $4.5 million. Solicitation No. FA4690-07-08-R-0004 will be issued as a formal Request for Proposal on or about 28 January 08 via Fed Biz Opps. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award. The 28th Contracting Squadron will consider all proposals submitted by responsible businesses.
