- Description
- The 436 Contracting Squadron (436 CONS) Dover AFB, DE in anticipating awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for the maintenance and repair of elevators. The duration of the contact to include all option is anticipated to be 5 years. The initial contract period shall run from 01 Apr 08 ? 30 Sep 08. Option year one: 1 Oct 08 ? 30 Sep 09; Option year two: 1 Oct 09 ? 30 Sep 10; Option year three: 1 Oct 10 ? 30 Sep 11; Option year four: 1 Oct 11 ? 30 Sep 12. The contractor shall provide all personnel management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor and all other items and services necessary to maintain and repair the elevators at Dover AFB, DE. These services shall be provided by the contractor in accordance with the Statement of Work attached. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS is 811310. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. All prospective offerors must have a commercial and government entity (CAGE) code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. Responses shall conform to FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors ? Commercial Items. The government award will be based on ?best value? determine by the evaluation procedures set forth in the solicitation in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. The government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest price. If the Contracting Officer determines that the number of proposals that would otherwise be in the competitive range exceeds the number at which an efficient competition can be conducted, the Contracting Officer may limit the number of proposals in the competitive range to the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals.
