- Description
- Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd.(FWEL), Shinfield Park, Reading Berkshire, RG2 9FW, UK to support the Iraqi Ministry of Oil (MoO) in developing a redundancy for the current sub-sea pipelines that export over 80% of Iraqi crude oil. Scope of work includes preparation of bid package for an off-shore survey to support follow-on MoO pipeline project and identification of early stage design and engineering products. Foster Wheeler is uniquely positioned to proceed on the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) because of intimate knowledge of the MoO objectives derived from previous Iraqi reconstruction work, rollover of key team members, sensitivity for Iraqi project execution, breadth of International experience in similar Upstream Projects and the ability to start project immediately.
