- Description
- The Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity intends to issue a solicitation on or about February 6, 2008 for the provision of pharmacy benefits services to eligible TRICARE beneficiaries through retail pharmacies and a mail order pharmacy(ies). The DoD currently offers worldwide pharmacy services dispensed to eligible TRICARE beneficiaries through three (3) venues: (1) direct care pharmacies located at Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), (2) retail network pharmacy services (TRRx), and (3) the TRICARE Mail Order Pharmacy (TMOP). Claims processing for prescriptions dispensed at non-network retail pharmacies are currently processed under TRRx.
