- Description
- The United States Postal Service intends to award a Design/Build Competitive GMP type contract for renovation and consolidation of the existing Royal Oaks Processing and Distribution Center located at 2351 Bellingham Drive in Troy, MI. The work consists of selective demolition of but not limited to noted USPS equipment, loading docks, dock equipment, trench drains, stairs, railings, vault, toilets, doors, partitions, misc. rooms and associated walls/ceilings. New construction consists of but is not limited to walls, partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, hardware, lighting, roofing, R.T.U.s , roof hatch, canopy, windows and more. The project will be constructed in a mostly unoccupied building. All work is denoted on plans and specifications to be issued with the Postal Service request for proposal. The total time of performance is 420 calendar days from notice to proceed. Subcontracting goals for this project are: Small Business 31.2%, Minority Business 10%, and Women Owned Business 5%. Questions shall be clear, concise, numbered and dated.
