Description
Procurement of Aircraft Air Seal SOL FA8104-07-R-0620, OC-ALC/748 CBSG/PKBTINKER AFB OK 73145-3015, For additional information contact Chris Jones/748 CBSG/PKB/(405) 739-5497. This requirement is a total small business set-a-side. A firm fixed-price Requirements type contract is contemplated with one basic year and 4 (four) one year options for procurement of Aircraft Air Seal applicable to the TF 39 Engine. Item 0001: NOUN: Aircraft Air Seal NSN 2840-01-199-0438 NY, P/N: 9395M64G01. BEQ as follows: 316 EA Basic Year; 382 EA OPT I; 206 EA OPT II; 309 EA OPT III; 309 EA OPT IV. Applicable to: TF39 Engine, C-5Aircraft. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Contractor First Article Data Report and Material Certification is required. Description: The Aircraft Air Seals are approximately 1.5? wide X 24? length X 1? height. LPT Seals are attached to the inner ends of nozzle vanes and maintains low interstage hub leakage. Predominant material is Hastelloy X. Delivery: Item 0001: Delivery will be 50 EA per month starting 31 December 2008. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification requirements are available for this acquisition. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate solicitation issue date is 25 Sept 2007 and the estimated solicitation response date will be 25 October 2007. The anticipated award date will be 16 November 2007. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.eps.gov/. Approved Sources are General Electric (07482) Aero-FAB Div (3X836), Twigg Corporation (50595), Enginetics Corporation (60168), and Barnes Group Inc. (75440). All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation that shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
