- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to enter into negotiations for a firm fixed price contract on an other than full and open competition basis with Acutronic USA, INC., 640 Alpha Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238 for a quantity of one (1) Two axis motion table with temperature chamber and Acutrol 3000 PA motion controller. A portion of the specifications include but are not limited to the following: The two-axis rate table shall consist of an outer tilt axis and an inner table axis. Both axes must be capable of precision position, rate, and acceleration control. The rate-table controller must provide a touch-screen human interface with analog and digital interfaces. The table must be equipped with a temperature chamber capable of both heating and cooling. The temperature chamber must be removable to provide a larger testing area when temperature testing is not required. The tilt axis shall have a 360 degree of motion to accommodate the required range of motion. The solicitation with a detailed list of specifications will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEBBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/searchservlet on or about 2/07/08. The solicitation will close on or about 3/07/08. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ). Evaluation for the award will consider price and other factors including technical capability.
