Description

TACOM TARDEC intends to negotiate and award modification P00002 to the existing contract W56HZV-04-C-0784 on a Sole Source Basis to the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. This is a follow-on to the existing contract to develop and optimize paramete rs for the Laser Engineered Net Shaping (LENS) process (for ANAD steel component rebuilding processes, and metallic composite materials) and to develop/refine other applicable rapid manufacturing process technologies for (MPH program or Army Depot) rapid m anufacturing cells. The estimated dollar value is $820,000.00 over a thirty month period. TACOM-WARREN WILL NEGOTIATE ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302.1 WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN, MILWAUKEE FOR THIS EFFORT. THE TARGET AWARD DATE IS NOVEMBER 30, 2007. SEE NUMBERED NOTES 22 AND 26. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-OCT-2007).
