Description

The Aviation Integration Directorate (AID) of the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) proposes to procure re-manufacture of three MH-47E aircraft to a partial MH-47G configuration including: 1) new MH-47G 41 Section, 2) forward LH gunners wi ndow, 3) rear LH gunners window, 4) ECP G035 Forward Pylon Replacement, and 5) the cockpit instrument panel with mounting structure, canted consol, overhead panel and LH/RH power distribution panels (PDP), less all normally installed electrical/avionic com ponents, shall be delivered uninstalled. Market research has indicated that one company can meet this requirement. This will be a sole source procurement to the Boeing Company, Route 291 & Stewart Ave, Ridley Park, PA 19078-1099. The authority to use other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A single firm fixed price (FFP) contract is anticipated. This procurement will be solicited, evaluated, and awar ded using FAR Part 15 procedures. This requirement is classified under NAICS code 336411 Aircraft Manufacturing. Offe rors who have requested a copy of the RFP will be notified by email once it is released. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the Government. Numbered notes 8, 9, 12, 22, 23 and 26 apply.
