Description

Furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, with the exception for specified Government-furnished property to install concrete slabs and foundation and erect a government furnished structure and other specified work. The work is located at the Red Mountain South Campground approximately one quarter of a mile off Highway 84 in Madison County. The contractor shall have 32 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed to complete the work. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and must complete their annual representations and certifications (ORCA). Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov and for ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about February 8, 2008. Response date for quotes will be on or about March 7, 2008. A site visit will be conducted. A firm date and place will be cited in Section L of the Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses, which will be included as a part of the solicitation. NO HARD COPIES of the solicitation will be sent out by this office but will be available for downloading on the website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This procurement is a total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220. Small business size standard is $31.0 million.
