Description

Subject to final approval, the Bureau of the Public Debt, on behalf of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration intends to acquire on a sole-source basis to Global Technology Systems, Inc. / dba: Honeywell Batteries, 1 Apple Hill Drive Suite 203, Natick, MA 01760 for high capacity lithium-ion batteries. Honeywell Batteries is the only manufacturer of high capacity law enforcement grade batteries for law enforcement operational needs. Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than 2:00 p.m. EST, January 30, 2008. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the required batteries in terms more advantageous to the Government. Request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered affirmative responses. If no affirmative responses are received that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet all requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to Global Technology Systems, Inc. / dba: Honeywell Batteries.
