Description
NOTE 1 The following questions have been received 1. QUESTION: There is a request to include a locker for parts- please specify size of the parts, the size of the locker, the material the locker needs to be comprised of (metal, wood, plastic ) and if there is a level of security required for this locker. Does the locker have a lock  there is nothing described or specified? Answer: The Wall Locker must be metal only . Needs to be lockable with a hasp to fit padlock on door. It need s to be basically the normal two door wall locker size with shelves 3-4 inside 2.QUESTION: There is a request for a workbench  please describe the requested unit and if there are any sizes. Is this for working on weaponry or paperwork? Answer: The work bench is for both weapon repair/maintenance and paperwork.Needs to be at least 5 FEET long and stand approximately 48 INCHES tall. 3. QUESTION: Typically these preassembled units are only for exterior use and delivered with a crane. I have been told these two units are for interior use within an existing building. Please confirm this and if so can they be comprised of modular panels meeting AA-V-2737 and built on site so they can be finished per the requirements? Typically vaul ts for interior use are assembled on site and forklifts are used for the installation. Answer: We don't care how they get get it installed, in pieces or solid unit. As long as it satisfies the physical security requirements. They can not use a cr ane, but may be able to use fork lifts. 4. QUESTION: Can you specify which ICIDS Security System? ICIDS-1, ICIDS-2, or ICIDS-3 What IDS system does the IDS system in the newly purchased vaults have to be compatible with? What make and model IDS panel is required? Answer: ICIDS-1. 5. QUESTION: Can unit be quoted without weather vestibule? It is not necessary indoors or outdoors on some types of units, and particularly if unit is to be installed in a hangar and requires giving up secure storage space which could otherwise be used. Answer: We do not want the weather vestibule. It would just take up floor space that could be used for other funct4. Item description is re-written as follows. 6. Item description is re-written as follows. CLIN 0001.Arms Vault 2 each: Preassembled, weather-tight UL Class M, 6 sided. GSA Class 5 Armory Door with bi-fold Dutch style day gate, HVAC unit with humidity control, weather vestibule with steel per sonnel door, interior and exterior lighting, interior electrical outlets, stained textured exterior finish, and painted interior. Interior has 211SF with a minimum 4 foot deep vestibule. The wall flange kit is for a 4-6 inch thick wall w/ mounting holes for day gate. Each vault must be sized to fit one locker for parts, workbench and enough weapons racks to store 85 M249s, 70 ea 240Bs, 15 each M4s, 10 each M16s and 15 M9s.B. The vaults cannot be delivered using a crane, but casters/whe els may be used in delivery, provided casters/wheels are removed upon delivery/installation. Proposed vaults must meet or exceed the physical security requirements of AA-V-27.
