Description
This is only a Sources Sought synopsis and not a request for proposal. No contract shall be awarded in response to this synopsis. The government is looking for sources to maintain ADT security systems located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. M ust have authorization / certification to work on ADT systems. The U.S. Army Garrison Aberdeen Proving Ground (USAGAPG) has a continuing need for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and supported equipment. USAGAPG is the host activity for over 60 tenant ac tivities and, as such, is responsible for providing security assistance to include IDS design, installation, and maintenance. IDS is an integral part of the overall security posture at USAGAPG and Tenant Activities with several unique facilities that requi re specific means of protection. The USAGAPG must provide Security Systems to Tenant Activities to include equipment, delivery, installation, and maintenance of new and existing security devices/systems. The USAGAPG in conjunction with Tenant Activities id entifies areas in which systems are needed or need to be upgraded to ensure the appropriate regulations are followed. System support includes providing technical assistance and training in the operation, and testing of the systems and related equipment. T wo technical personnel are required on site during normal duty hours and a 6-hour maximum response during non-duty hours by qualified technical personnel. Qualified technical personnel must be able to acquire and maintain at least a SECRET security clear ance. Interested sources should limit their response to 3 pages.
