- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in San Diego, California. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods are as follows: 200 Inpatient Days (Estimated); 343 Outpatient Visits (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Infectious Disease - Session Duration: 4 Hours, Session Quantity 4 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Obstetrics/Gynecology - Session Duration: 4 Hours, Session Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Ophthalmologist - Session Duration: 4 Hours, Session Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Optometrist - Session Duration: 4 Hours, Session Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Orthopedic Surgeon - Session Duration: 4 Hours, Session Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Psychiatrist - Session Duration: 5 Hours, Session Quantity 52 per contract year (Estimated). The solicitation will be made available on/or about March 3, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on/or about April 30, 2008. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
